A typical basque wine
Implanted at the beginning of the 12th century by the monks of the abbey of the Roncesvalles, this AOC ( protected designation of Origin ) vineyard of mountain since 1970, reserves you of beautiful surprises. First of all, you will appreciate the beauty of the landscapes: the vineyard is cultivated for the main part in terraces, on sides of the South of Basque Pyrenees and dominates the valley of Baigorri. Side tasting, you will also be under the charm: red and pinkish wines have in common delicacy and astringency. They result from traditional vines: Tannat and Cabernet. For white wines, they are the very former vines, Courbu, Young and Big Manseng which are cultivated.
